This chicken cacciatore in a rich and rustic sauce, it’s Italian comfort food at its finest! Taste the super tender meat cooked directly in the sauce, where it will absorb all of the flavor of the mushrooms and tomatoes and the seasoning of course! The meat will be accompanied by simple white rice, that will give you balance to the explosive taste of this main dish, directly form a typical Italian grandma’s cookbook !

Step 1- Cook the Chicken
On a fry pan over medium heat add the corn oil, butter, Chicken and stir until the Chicken turns golden colour, add the vegetables, and keep stirring until the vegetables are tender.
Step 2- Add the Flavours
Reduce the heat to low then add the sauce, salt and pepper if desired. keep cooking until the sauce boils and becomes thick.
Step 3- Cook the Rice
On other fry pan over medium heat cook the rice until hot (or microwave it).
Step 4- Serve your Dish
On a serving plate, serve the Chicken with the rice on the side. Enjoy!
