A classic of Arabic cuisine, the Chicken Shawarma with its both tangy and warm flavors, obtained after being marinated all day in different types of seasonings and spices, will be the main character of this rich plate. But what’s a main character without the supporting ones? That’s because the garnish of this dish serves the purpose to exalt the already complex tastes of the chicken, like chickpeas rice with its complementary taste and a typical Arabic mint salad that will add that fresh spiciness unique to this herb.

Step 1- Cook the Chicken

On a fry pan over medium heat add corn oil, the Chicken and stir until the Chicken turns golden colour. Add the sauce and keep cooking until the sauce is absorbed and evaporated completely.

Step 2- Cook the Rice

On other fry pan over medium heat, add the butter, the olive oil, chickpeas mix and stir few second until vegetables are tender. Add the rice to the pan and stir until the rice is hot.

Step 3- Prepare the Salad

In a bowl mix the salad with the dressing.

Step 4- Serve your Dish

Serve the shawarma over the rice and the salad on the side.
