Step 1- Gear Up
Preheat your oven at 180 degree Celsius.
Step 2- Prepare the stuffed Chicken
Stuff your chicken (skin side down) with the freekeh then wrap your chicken with the freekeh inside (use a toothpick to seal the chicken (
Step 3- Cook the Chicken
On a frying pan add the ghee, sauté the Chicken from each side until golden brown color.
Step 4- Bake the Chicken
Transfer the Chicken on an oven tray (with Aluminium foil or baking sheet base on the oven tray), add the tomato sauce at top of the Chicken. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Move the tray to the pre-heated oven and bake for (10) minutes or until the chicken turns golden dark colour. Remove from the oven and remove the toothpick.
Step 5- Garnish the Chicken
Keep the Chicken aside for least 1 to 2 minutes then slice it into half. Add the chopped parsley at top.
Step 6- Prepare the Soup
In a pot, boil the soup over medium-high heat. Remove from the heat and keep warm.
Step 7- Serve the Iftar
In a shared bowls, place the soup. On a shared serving plate, put the Chicken. Enjoy!!
