If you’ve never tried zaatar chicken before, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. This fork-tender, juicy sliced chicken breast is accompanied by the famous za’atar, a Middle Eastern mix of seven spices and other goodies, including the nutritious freekeh: early harvested wheat grains. Mellowed by intensely flavorful tahini sauce, livened with lemon, and aromatized with chopped onions and garlic, this 30-minute meal will be your new favorite Middle Eastern meal!

Step 1- Cook your Chicken
On a fry pan over a medium heat, add (½) tablespoonful (TBSP) olive oil, (1) cube of butter. Add the Chicken and cook for (2) minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the heat keep it warm.
Step 2- Cook your Freekeh
On a new fry pan over a low heat, sauté the onions with (2) tablespoonsful (TBSP) olive oil until the onion is caramelized. Add salt and pepper if desired. Add the freekeh and (1) cube of butter. Mix well for few second.
Step 3- Serve your dish
On a serving plate, slice the Chicken over the freekeh, and drizzle with green tahini sauce on the top with lemon wedges on the side.
